A Word from the Editor

My name is David White. I live in Barnes, which puts me firmly inside the borough I write about. I shop on the same high streets, walk the same towpath, and sit through the same planning consultations as you do.

Richmond Round grew out of a straightforward observation: good local information is scattered across dozens of websites, social media groups, council pages, and noticeboards. Most residents never see most of it. My job is to find it, gather it, and bring it to you in one place, clearly and without fuss.

This is not a hobby project. It is a proper local publishing service, run with editorial standards and a genuine commitment to the community it serves.

To make sure that everyone who lives in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames has access to the local news, information, and conversations that affect their daily lives, delivered in the way that suits them best.
