Arts Richmond
The umbrella body worth knowing if you want a route into the wider arts scene. It's a voluntary organisation and independent charity with over 100 affiliated societies across the borough, representing the voluntary arts sector on the council's Arts Advisory Forum. They publish 11 newsletters.

Explore the history of Richmond, Kew, Petersham and Ham. The society publishes the award-winning Richmond History journal, and runs well-attended talks and walks.

Active groups include garden enthusiasts, several history strands ("History Behind the Headlines"), and language conversation groups, meeting weekly to monthly across the borough.
The Richmond Society
A civic society that connects to the Museum of Richmond, Richmond Archaeological Society, the River Thames Society, Habitats and Heritage, and Richmond & Twickenham Friends of the Earth, among others.
